Mark Molnar Mark Molnar, Director

BioMark became a peer support volunteer in 1994. In 2000, Mark joined Shanti staff within the HIV Services program. Starting out as the Shanti Peer Advocate stationed at St. Mary's Medical Center, Mark has also worked as a Care Coordinator, HIV & Volunteer Services Manager, and HIV Programs Director. Mark is a former Co-Chair of the San Francisco EMA HIV Health Services Planning Council and currently serves as the Council's Director.
Ali Cone Ali Cone, Program Manager

BioAli joined the San Francisco HIV Health Services Planning Council in 2012. She graduated from Pomona College with a BA in Environmental Analysis and minors in Psychology and Spanish. As an undergraduate, she worked for several community-based environmental and educational non-profits and was involved with a number of research initiatives focused on social and environmental justice issues. After working in the private sector at a healthcare consulting firm, Ali joined our staff to pursue her passion for public policy, healthcare and advocacy. Ali is also a Shanti Peer Support Volunteer, and facilitates a monthly support group.

Bio Liz joined Shanti as a Program Assistant with the SF HIV Health Services Planning Council in 2016. She graduated from the University of San Francisco with a Master’s in Public Health in 2015 and got her undergrad degrees in Sociology and Community Studies from UC Santa Cruz. Liz has a passion for women’s sexual and reproductive health and has previously worked at The City of Berkeley’s Public Health Clinic providing birth control counseling and health education. Liz joined Shanti to pursue her interests in public health policy and direct service.
Gina Gemello

BioGina began as the HIV Consumer Advocacy Project Staff Attorney in 2014, following three years in the Disability Rights Program of the Legal Aid Society-Employment Law Center, where she provided a range of free legal services to people with disabilities. Gina holds a J.D. from UC Hastings College of the Law and a B.A. from UC San Diego, where she majored in Sociology and Women's Studies.
